Mark’s controversial human genome series, Dead Famous DNA, goes global

Dead Famous DNA – the title says it all.  Over two years, Mark travelled the length and breadth of America to try to track down and sequence the genomes of some of the most influential characters in history.  His aim ?  To get people talking about the human genome – something that we all need to know more about given we’re entering the new and exciting age of personalised medicine.

The three part series first aired on Channel 4 in 2014 and generated huge amounts of media coverage when one of Mark’s results strongly suggested that Eva Braun may have been Jewish !

The series has now gone global having been secured for transmission by broadcasters in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, Canada and the Czech Republic.
