This interesting and informative DVD filmed over 10 years covers the story of the MG marque, mainly through the eyes of the enthusiasts themselves, from early vintage models up to the current new MG Saloons.
The programme is Produced and Directed by former Top Gear Director and TV Producer/Motoring journalist Jamie Langton and features some unusual cars. One owner shows us his 1980 built MGBGT thats never been on the road, with just 58 miles on the clock the car has not even been registered and looks as though its fresh from the factory. Also featured is some exclusive production line footage of the early nineties classic MGRV8 being built which is brought up to date with footage of the current saloons rolling off the production line.
Exclusive interviews include Don Hayter, chief body draughtsman for the MGB and we also get to see his one off MGB V8 Roadster built specially for him by British Leyland at the end of MGBs production. Theres also an interview with David Bishop, Managing Director of British Motor Heritage Ltd who tells us how he saved the tooling of the MGB from being scrapped, and how, thanks to him and his team, the MG RV8 came about.
